“ Visited this cafe during a trip to Stamford and had a really great experience. The ambience is lovely and welcoming, and the place itself is spotless. You can tell it is well looked after. Being one of the oldest cafes in the town, it has a lot of character and charm. The staff were friendly, polite and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We tried coffee along with Danish pastries and everything was excellent. The coffee was well made and the pastries were enjoyable. Parking was not an issue and was easy enough to find nearby, which is always a plus. Overall, a very positive experience. Anyone visiting Stamford should definitely make time to stop by here. ”

Prices are touch above the usual but overall worth the extra. Can imagine it gets very busy at peak times. Definitely coming back again when in Stamford again. ”

“ This place is defo the spot to come! The Central Café & Tearooms in Stamford is absolutely gorgeous inside, think stone walls, a fireplace, and the cutest picture of animated Stamford. It’s sweet, quaint, and has such a cosy vibe. The food? Unreal. Their twist on a full English (pic) was bursting with flavour and felt like a proper upgrade on the classic. My partner had the afternoon tea and it was just as lovely, fresh, indulgent, and beautifully put together. Only thing is, it’s on the small side and when we went on a Sunday it was packed, so not the most chilled setting. But midweek? I can imagine it’s perfect. Honestly, if you’re in Stamford and want good food with heaps of character, this is the place. ”
